8 Great Fall ’17 Shoes Under $80
By Lauryn M.
How often do you find yourself spending your days rushing through the city, only to come home and find your poor feet aching? That’s every other day for me. Having danced on pavement for 4 years-straight at Disneyland, my feet are already a pain to care for, and after walking around New York City all day, my feet continuously beg for rest and comfort. Therefore, it has been a mission of mine to seek out the chicest; most comfortable, supportive foot wears in all necessary styles. What better place to look than Amazon? They have seriously “upped” their game in everything from Entertainment to Fashion. Check out my list below for the top 8 shoes under $80 for this Fall!

Franco Sarto Dalton Loafer Mule
Once Gucci had this elegant, men’s inspired, business casual slip-on shoe gracing all the “It” fashion girls feet, this style turned up everywhere. A fantastic style for the office, a stroll in the park, or running to-and-from auditions. You’ll be sure to look chic in every step and your feet will happily thank you at the end of the day!
Marc Fisher Analise Mule
Another similar style to the loafer-mule, this pointy-toe style offers a chicer finish with a “boss-girl” attitude. Sure to chic up any look, it’s easy to slip on and off in between gigs and daily errands. Also a nice alternative to heels.
STEVEN by Steve Madden Vassie Dress Pump
There’s something endlessly adorable about Mary-Janes. They have been making a fashion statement since Alice and Wonderland paired hers with a pinafore. This season, extra straps, higher heels, bolder colors, and a variety of toe shapes will elegantly shape your look. I prefer a block heel that offers better support and comfort for walking through the city.
Sam Edelman Reesa Ankle Bootie
The Chelsea Boot; the ankle bootie that compliments any outfit for any season. With the right heel height, the comfortable insole, and neutral colors and prints, this shoe is a sure “go-to” for Fall and can be worn well into winter and spring! A great shoe to add sophisticated height, without trying too hard, and keeps you energized with every step.
Chinese Laundry Jody Block Heel
The classic strappy heel is a seasonal staple. This style with a block heel, offers better support, and can be worn to the office, to an audition, or out on the town. You cannot go wrong with a classic strappy heel in this city, just be wary of cobblestone streets if you opt for a stiletto heel. When the temp drops, pair them with some fall-colored socks to keep those precious toes warm and chic.
Saucony Shadow Original Polka Dot Sneaker
Just last season, the white sneaker was everywhere, worn with everything from dresses, to joggers, for a chic “athleisure” style. This season, try adding a fun print to your sneaks and watch the eyes follow! I love pairing them with leather leggings, comfy joggers, or a midi dress, for an easy-going, comfortable style. Just a tip, let the print do the talking, make sure there is a good amount of support when you pick up speed, and keep it simple on top!
Doc Marten’s 1460 Eye Boot
What a staple this Dr. Marten boot has been. The military, British-rebel teen style of this boot has popped up every season in a range of colors and prints. These sturdy, comfortable insoles, weather-proofed, cool “It” girl approved boots are great for this Fall season, and all those before and after and for such a fantastic price too! I’m tempted to get a green and white pair!
Madden Girl Prisley Riding (Over the Knee) Boot #otk
The Over the Knee Boot aka #otk, had Stewart Weizmann all over the fashion scene last season, and as much as I wanted those $900 boots, I wasn’t going to give up my lively hood for a pair of shoes, when I knew I would see them just as cute, if not more comfy, and keeping in style for the next few seasons to come! These leg-slimming, cold-weather, uber-chic boots are great for fall, and what did I tell ya? They’re under $80 on Amazon now!
I absolutely love growing my shoe collection, while living in NYC, to complement each season, cater to all types of weather, and keep me comfortable, looking chic, and keeping my feet happy while walking and running about the city. Amazon has helped me curate such a fantastic list of shoes that are affordable staples for any city girl! Which ones did you find to add to your shopping bag??? Share in the comments below!
